Canadian Business SenseAbility engages on social media to encourage businesses to become more accessible and inclusive of people with disabilities and to create awareness of the disability market. Channels

All accounts and channels are managed and promoted by Canada Business SenseAbility online, in-person and at events.

Policy

Our use of social media is consistent with the principles of independence, dignity, integration and equality of opportunity for people with various abilities. Our staff are familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by people with disabilities while accessing our services. We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that consider their disability.

Content

We are not able to reply individually to all the messages we receive via social media channels. However, all replies, comments, shares and direct messages will be read, and helpful suggestions will be forwarded.

We expect that conversations will be respectful and comments that are offensive to an individual or an organization, rude in tone, or abusive will be removed.

Any comments that do not respect and promote the principles of independence, dignity, integration and equality of opportunity for people of various abilities will be modified or removed. Anyone acting contrary to these principles may be temporarily or permanently excluded from our social media channels.

Content which is outdated, or incorrect, and unintelligible messages will be removed. Repetitive posts copied and pasted by multiple users including attempts to defame, or defraud that encourage or suggest illegal activity will be removed.

Accessibility of external content and social media channels cannot be guaranteed. Third-party social media services may occasionally be unavailable, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
